| 20 April 1934 | Cassandra talks with Jeziah, The Great Zalkador (her Fortune Teller), Alex Summers (a antique dealer friend) and Tiger Johnson (a friend of Alex's) about her concerns over the death of Roger Carlisle. Alex suggests she talks to Jackson Elias, an anthropologist who investigates and infiltrates Death Cults and has written a few books on the subject. |
| 25 May 1934 | Jackson Elias arrives in London and meets Cassandra. He tells her of his own interest in the Carlisle Expedition's fate. She agrees to fund an investigation by him into the fate of the Carlisle Expedition. |

| 10 January 1935 | Jackson Elias suddenly sends a telegram to Cassandra saying he is on his way back to England. He has uncovered a conspiracy involving the Carlisle Expedition. He will explain further once he is in London. He needs a group of people to assist him in his investigation. |
| 15 January 1935 | Jackson telegrams Cassandra that he is in the Chelsea Hotel in London and to meet him in his hotel room at 4pm. Cassandra, Jeziah, Zalkador, Alex and Tiger find Jackson Elias murdered in his hotel room in London by Middle-eastern looking assailants. They take various clues from him before the Police arrive. |
| 16 January 1935 | Jonah Kensington at Prospero House publishers, reveals that Jackson Elias was writing a book about the fate of the Carlisle Expedition. He hands over all of his notes to Cassandra. |
| 17 January 1935 | Erica Carlisle arrives in London and Cassandra tells her all she knows. She agrees to help fund their investigating into the fate of the Carlisle Expedition. |
| 18 January 1935 | The Investigators meet Edward Gavigan at the Penhew Foundation. He is not very helpful and firmly believes the Expedition is dead. |
| 19 January 1935 | The basement of Ju-Ju House reveals the horrors of the Cult of the Bloody Tongue. Cassandra takes the book Dark African Sects and starts to read it. |
| 21 January 1935 | Professor Anthony Clowes gives a lecture on the Cults of Polynesia, including an obscure Bat Cult. He reveals ancient and strangely marked stones, found in the desert of Western Australia. |
| The Investigators speak to Professor Clowes afterwards and learn that Robert McKenzie in Port Hedland knows more. |
| Before bed that evening, Cassandra reads disturbing things about the Cult of the Bloody Tongue in Kenya from the book, Dark African Sects. |
| 22 January 1935 | Jeziah learns from an employee that the Penhew Foundation has cargo transported from Australia, to Derby, England and then on to China. |
| The Great Zalkador does a Tarot reading that suggests the world is going to end. |
| 23 January 1935 | Alex employs a friend and private investigator, Joe Quimby, to start investigating the Penhew Foundation. |
| 24 January 1935 | Jeziah learns the Egyptians at the Penhew Foundation frequent the Blue Pyramid club in Soho. It has a bad reputation and that area of Soho has seen a spate of "Egyptian Murders" recently, according to the newspapers. |
| 25 January 1935 | Zalkador talks to various shop owners living in Soho near the Blue Pyramid club. He learns they fear the Brotherhood of the Black Pharaoh and that once a month a coach comes to the club and takes a number of people away for the night. |
| 26 January 1935 | Joe Quimby reveals that the Penhew Foundation receives shipments from Port Hedland in Australia via the Randolph Shipping Company, Darwin. It sends them to Henson Manufactoring, who send them back and are shipped on to Shanghai via Ho Fang Imports / Exports. |
| Joe is asked to start watching the Blue Pyramid club in the evenings and follow any coaches that pick up people from there. |
| 28 January 1935 | Breaking into Henson Manufacturing in Derby, the Investigators learn they have strange machinery using bizarre technology including glowing green tubes, that they re-arrange according to certain plans. They steal some of the machinery. |
| 29 January 1935 | Zalkador discovers his flat is being watched by Egyptians. He moves out to Astor Manor and changes his appearance and persona to George Zimmerman, a butler. |
| Cassandra asks some of the engineers at Astor Motors to look at the machinery they acquired from Henson Manufacturing. |
| 30 January 1935 | Joe Quimby phones Alex to say a coach has pulled up at the Blue Pyramid club and lots of Egyptians are getting on board. He is going to follow it that night. |
| 31 January 1935 | More Private Investigators are employed to watch the Penhew Foundation and Edward Gavigan's flat in Mayfair. |
| 02 February 1935 | Alex learns that Joe Quimby has disappeared. |
| 03 February 1935 | Egyptian cultists attack Joe and Tiger that night in the flat above their shop. They manage to kill them all, but are both wounded. Alex finds his address written on a piece of paper in the pocket of one of the attackers. |
| 06 February 1935 | The engineers from Astor Motors reveal they are struggling to understand the machinery from Henson Maufacturing. It could be some sort of propulsion device. |
| 07 February 1935 | Zalkador discovers his landlady, Mrs McGiven, has disappeared. |
| 08 February 1935 | Tiger talks to a friend in the Police, who agrees to investigate the Blue Pyramid club. |
| 09 February 1935 | The Investigators break into the Penhew Foundation. They discover there is somewhere called Misr House, the Clive Expedition in Egpyt and Empire Spices in Soho. |
| Zalkador takes a statue of a winged, tenticle faced monster and begins to get an affinity for it. |
| 10 February 1935 | The Police raid the Blue Pyramid club. A number of people are arrested and the place is closed. The Investigators go there and are able to find Mrs McGiven chained in a secret basement. |
| 11 February 1935 | After a long investigation, Alex discovers that Misr House is in "the Naze", Essex. |
| 12 February 1935 | The Investigators travel to Chelmsford then Walton-on-the-Naze. They search for and find Misr House and break in, over coming the cultists who live there. |
| They rescue Joe Quimby from a cellar full of prison cells, torture implements and cult statues, plus a letter to Omar Al-Shakti in Egypt about "their great endeveaour". Zalkador touches a statue and thinks Edward Gavigan is now aware they are in the House. |
| A flying worm monster (a Hunting Horror) attacks them. They hold it at bay with a lot of firepower and Tiger kills it by burning down Misr House. |
| 15 February 1935 | Joe Quimby say he was tortured and was forced to reveal Alex's address. They intended to sacrifice him at the next dark moon. The Investigators return to London. |
| 18 February 1935 | Private Investigators continue to watch the cult locations, but they seem to have gone quiet. |
| 19 February 1935 | A PI reveals cultists are watching Astor Manor and the Investigators prepare for attack. |
| Edward Gavigan and Zahra Shafik lead the attack, summoning another Hunting Horror, which smashes into the house, but the Investigators hold it off with lights and firepower. |
| The Hunting Horror turns on Gavigan and eats him, disappearing. Tiger chases Shafik back into London, but loses her. |
| 20 February 1935 | Cassandra takes Jeziah to hospital due to his wounds. The Police investigate the attack on Astor Manor. The Investigators are able to link the attack to the Blue Pyramid club. |
| 21-28 February 1935 | The Investigators rest and recover. They study clues leading to other countries. |
| 03 March 1935 | Cassandra resolves to travel to Egypt. Alex can fly them there in his aeroplane. |
| 05 March 1935 | The Investigators leave London for Egypt. |
| 08 March 1935 | The Investigators arrive in Cairo and stay at the Sheppard Hotel. |
| 09 March 1935 | Hotel staff introduce them to Mahmoud, a orphan who can help them around Cairo. |
| The Investigators to to speak to Faraz Najjir about the burning of his shop on the Street of Jackals, but he angrily tells them to leave. |
| Zalkador approaches him quietly afterwards. With a little bribery, he agrees to talk later at a local Mosque. |
| Cassandra learns the Clive Expedition found a sarcophagus in a secret room of the Mycerius Pyramid - then it was stolen. |
| Faraz Najjir tells Zalkador he stole from the Brotherhood of the Black Pharaoh and they sent a fire demon to burn down his shop. He recommends speaking to Nuri in El-Wasta and heard that the Brotherhood want something that is held in the former Mosque of Ibn-Tulun. |
| 11 March 1935 | They visit the Egyptian Museum and meet Dr Ali Kafour, who tell them the Black Pharaoh ruled Egyptain at the end of the Third Dynasty. He was over-thrown by Snefru, but buried him in the Bent Pyramid. |
| They visit the Cairo Bulletin newspaper and find out from Nigel Wassif that the Clive Expedition are now diggin in Dahshur and that Janwillem Van Heuvelen was fired from the Expedition, but cannot leave Cairo because he lacks money. |
| 12 March 1935 | They find Dr Van Heuvelen, who is a penniless drunk. They recruit him to join them as he can read Egpytian Hieroglyphs. |
| The Mosque of Ibn-Tulun is now a hospital for the insane. At the back, the Investigators find the Ulama, aging Muslim clerics who are protecting the Girdle of Queen Nitrocris. |
| 13 March 1935 | They travel by stream launch to Al-Wasta. Old Mother Nuri has no hands, feet or tongue. Her one-armed son says they worked for the Carlisle Expedition and saw monsters. She found a strange stone, the "Eye" and she wants them to have it. |
| When the Eye stone touches the winged, tenticle-face statue that Zalkador has, there is a reaction and Zalkador is knocked off his feet. |
| They stop at Dahshur on the way back to Cairo to visit the Clive Expedition. Dr Clive is not friendly and it appears Agatha Broadmoor is being help prisoner there. |
| 14 March 1935 | Dr Ali Kafour at the Egyptian Museum confirms the "Eye" is the Eye of Light and Darkness, a powerful ward against Evil. He tells them the Black Pharaoh is really Nyarlathotep, a dark god from beyond the stars. |
| He warns Zalkador his statue is of Cthulhu - a Great Old One, another dark and terrible entity. He must get rid of the statue to save his soul. Zalkador throws the statue in the Nile. |
| That evening a Hunting Horror attacks the Mosque of Ibn-Tulun, supported by cultists from the Brotherhood of the Black Pharaoh, the leader of whom uses Fire Vampires. |
| Two British soldier mercenaries and most of the Muslim clerics are killed, but the cultists are killed and the Horror departs after killing the Muslic cleric leader. |
| Alex is given the Sword of Akmallah by a dying Muslim cleric. Tiger tries to chase the cult leader, but he is attack by an invisible "vampire" creature. | |
| Tiger and Alex are arrested by the Police while Zalkador, hiding, takes the Girdle of Nitocris. | |
| 15 March 1935 | Tiger are questioned by the Police. Jeziah gets them a solicitor. |
| 16 March 1935 | Jeziah breaks the Girdle of Nitocris in two. He posts one half to the UK and they give the other half to Dr Ali Kafour to put in the vault at the Egyptian Museum. |
| They go to the Mycerius pyramid with Van Heuvelen, but do not find anything of interest. |
| A Tarot reading by Zalkador reveals "the Emperor" is intervening. |
| 16 March 1935 (again?) | They discover they are stuck in the same day and have to travel to the Bent Pyramid to be free. |
| At the Bent Pyramid they find a secret underground chamber, where murals on the wall show three points in red, in Kenya, Australia and east of Shanghai and there will be a solar eclipse on 14/01/1936. |
| They see a vision of the Carlisle Expedition visiting the same hidden chamber and cultists going into a large chamber under the Sphinx via a secret entrance to summon their god to intervene, after they lost the Girdle of Queen Nitocris. Hundreds of cultists are sacrifcied to make this happen. |
| The Black Pharaoh appears and tempts them. Van Heuvelen succumbs and disappears through an archway. Jeziah reveals he wants to marry Cassandra. The Pharaoh magically takes the half of the Girdle of Nitocris posted to the UK. He has his cultists recover the other half from the Egyptian Museum - which they have done while the Investigators were travelling here. |
| The Pharaoh vanishes and they leave the Pyramid. They rush back to Gaza to stop the cultists before they can summon Queen Nitocris. |
| They find the secret entrance by the Sphinx and follow underground tunnels. They are attacked by animal-headed men, then find a Great Chamber where the cult leaders have the mummified body of Queen Nitocris. Agatha Broadmoor is there, drugged, to summon the spirit of the Queen. |
| In a desperate battle the Investigators kill the remaining cultists and are able to injure Omar Al-Shakti, ruining the summoning spell. The remaining cult leaders are killed by an angry Black Pharaoh. |
| 17 March 1935 | Zalkador and Alex are suffering mental breakdowns. Zalkador jumps into the Nile to try to find his statue and has to be rescued by the Police. Alex keeps asking everyone to bring him his dinner. Tiger is in hospital with burns from Fire Vampire attacks. |
| 24 March 1935 | Cassandra recruits Monty Coddington and Eddy Clarence to fly Alex's aeroplane and join their investigation. They begin the flight the same day. |
| 26 March 1935 | Zalkador and Alex are put into the care of Harley Street doctors. Mahmoud goes to live with Mrs McGiven. |

Colonial Under-Secretary Roger Cordon rejects any notions that the Carlisle Expedition are still alive. |
| They are driven to a village in a Rolls Royce Roadster to meet the Great Bundari. He tells Cassandra Roger is alive. They must stop the Cult of the Bloody Tongue. Okumo will guide them to the Mountain of the Black Wind. |
| The world is in great danger. The Eye of Light and Darkness can help them. Seek the wisdom of H'san in the East. |
| 11 April 1935 | They arrive at the Mountain of the Black Wind. Hundreds of cultists are camped at the bottom of the mountain. They battle their way into the mountain through some caves. |
| M'Weru leads the cult in encouraging a bloated Hypatia Masters to give birth to the blasphemous son of the God of the Bloody Tongue. The God of the Bloody Tongue is summoned over the mountain. Cassandra and Agatha have bouts of insanity. |
| Hypatia dies giving birth, but her "son" is killed. M'Weru is killed by Tiger and the God of the Bloody Tongue departs. Tiger makes sure all cultists are dead. |
| 11 April 1935 | They arrive at the Mountain of the Black Wind. Hundreds of cultists are camped at the bottom of the mountain. They battle their way into the mountain through some caves. |

| 16 April 1935 | The Great Bundari heals Cassandra and Agatha's insanity and encourages them to stop the plans of the cult. |

| Monty has Mortimer and his daughters burnt alive in their truck, over Eddy's objections. |
| 19 May 1935 | The Investigators begin their journey across the Great Sandy Desert. |
| 21 May 1935 | They reach the lakes and decide to follow some existing truck tracks that lead east. Cassandra reads in Wonderous Intelligences about the Great Race, who swap minds with hosts from the future. |
| 22 May 1935 | A sniper ambushes their trucks and Tiger is wounded before they can take him out. They find a camp between stones and kill the cultists there. |
| Stairs lead down into the remains of a vast, underground City of the Great Race. They meet Kakakakakatak, a woman possessed by the mind of a member of the Great Race. She was tricked into coming here. |
| Kakakakakatak shows them Lightning Guns and warns them about the Polyps. She helps them find Dr Robert Huston, an arrogant man who leads the cult here and wants them to join him. He tells Cassandra he does not know where Roger Carlisle is - Jack Brady took him. |
| When Alex shoots Huston, the Doctor tries to swap minds with Cassandra, but fails and dies. |
