Antonio Tremere
A British former highway man named Adam Crapstone. He got lucky and robbed a very rich man of a lot of money. The man died of a heart attack before the authorities found out who stole the money.
In British 18th century society, commoners called Adam Crapstone are not rich and he could not spend his wealth. So he took on a new name, Antonio Tremere. He married his love, Lucy, who became Lucy Tremere and they had a son, Gordon.
He wanted to purchase a noble title, but found the closed, clique community of Britain and Western Europe would not help him. He did discover though that the Emperor in Vienna was selling titles of Hungarian nobility in Transylvania and he bought the title of Boyar.
