Details of Mhoried, the country the Player Characters hail from and Torien's Watch, the province in Mhoried where they live.
Mhoried is a large Realm in north of the former Anurinean Empire. It is considered by some to be the last civilised Realm in the north, beyond which the thread of civilisation has worn thin. While this is not true, it is certainly the last truly stable Realm in the north, even though it has a lot of hostile lands along its borders.
It is composed of ten provinces. The Capital is Shieldhaven, a large castle and surrounding dwellings in the heart of the Bevaldruor province. It is ruled over by the Mhor, whose family were originally Arch Dukes during Imperial times and now rule their former lands outright.
This is the capital of Mhor, a large castle build on a hill top, mostly surrounded by cliff sides. A difficult target for an attack.
Small Anuirean Barony north of Mhoried. It defends the road norther to Dhoesone.
It is widely said that the guilds are the true power in the kingdom and the Baron is under their thumb.
Large Anuirean Barony to the south. Ruled by an aggressive and highly skilled war commander, Baron Tael. He regularly threathens his neighbours and seeks to expand.
A recent war with Ghoere did not go well.
Goblin kingdom to the east. A vassel state of the Gorgon. There have been many wars with this country.
A leaderless wilderness that is th ehome to bandits and brigands.
An independent Goblin Kingdom. They tend to like to trade and honour treaties - until they get fedup and start raiding again. Then there is a fight, a new treaty is signed and peace reigns for a time, before the cycle starts again.
